how do you call your bf/gf?

I'm really confused on how to call your bf/gf, do u call them- 'my man', 'my girl'---> this is same when u call ur friend (a girl friend), right? How can u differenntiate that?

Well, when I'm talking about a girl who is a friend, I say "my friend".... if I'm talking about my bf, I say "my boyfriend".

i call my bf 'boyfriend', he calls me 'girl', 'my girl', and he said i can call him 'my man'. but sometimes i'm confused he will say, ' we are friends, right?'...mention the word 'friendship' too. so what are we?should i still call him my bf?

After a certain age, it seems sort of silly to refer to a man as my boyfriend. But I still do. I don't think it really matters what you call them, as long as you call them.

It really doesn't matter. It's just about who you are and how you feel comfortable talking about people.

what if i call my bf, 'my boyfriend infront of friends? will he get mad at me coz he said we are friends.

I ask my gf to refer to me as her "man-friend"

 

To be honest, if i'm talking to people who already know who she is, I'll just refer to my gf by name. If i'm amongst people not in the know, the term"girlfriend" is pretty much universally understood.

Um...I either refer to him by his name to people who know who he is, or as my boyfriend, studmuffin, love slave (okay, I am kidding about the last two..or am I ). I call him his name, or one of our terms of endearment. I think he does much the same when talking about/to me!

call em whatever yo. im thinkin maybe their name but ya know some people say other stuff i mean i say "hey babe" all the time whatever will work
