Online dating - Should I give him my actual phone No.

I just wonder if you are going out on a date with someone you found online and haven't met before, would you give them your actual phone No. or a phone number that is internet based meaning you can only receive or dial call from/to someone if you have internet/ wifi access? Thanks.

Yes, I would give my phone number. If you're going to meet him in person, I'm not sure the harm in giving him your number. If you're scared that he may send inappropriate pictures or texts, then sure, use an internet phone number. But I've always used my regular number, and just blocked them if they became inappropriate.

I too have always used my actual phone number. I always make sure I chat to them and get to know them as well as you can do online before arranging to meet. If I agree to meet them then I don't mind giving out my phone number.

I've given out my cell number but not my landline since with the landline they can search it online and find out where you live lol.
