I have been dating my boyfriend for about 2 months. I feel so happy when I am with him. I went out of town this past weekend to visit my family and I just got back. He told me that he wanted to wait to give me my Christmas present when I got back home. I talked to him on the phone tonight and he told me that we needed to talk about us. I was on my way to a friends house so I told him I would call him back. He told me to call him when I left but that he might be asleep because he had to get up early in the morning. I thought that everything was going good but now i don't know what to think. Does "we need to talk about us" mean a bad thing, or could it mean a good thing?

it can be either...so you are just going to have to call him and find out.

I hope it's a good thing, tisd. Perhaps he wants to know where your relationship is headed, or how you feel about him?

 

As a side note, I hate it when someone says they "want to talk" but then is unavailable. Drives me nuts! Anyway, I hope you and your bf can get together soon.

It's been pretty much established in relationship lore that "we need to talk" is not a good thing. I'm not saying it can't be, but the odds are not in your favor.
