Here's my story... I was on birth control for like 6 months..but it had my rag all messed up, I stopped taking it about 2.5 weeks ago. My question, is it no longer protecting me? I know its def. not fully protection right now, but how long til its outta my system??

If you are talking about the pill, it stopped protecting you the day you quit taking it. The pill relies on you taking it every day to maintain a steady dose of hormones. If you interrupt the cycle of hormones you are not protected. Its not a case of "getting it out of your system". The pill works differently than that.

 

Use another form of birth control. You have zero protection right now.

Ok..one more question... Say I used a condom, pulling out, and spermicide..... What's that chances do you think I'll get pregnant?

Extremely low chances with all of those methods combined.

Um, as avman said above it is NOT protecting you at all anymore.

 

So, please, please use condoms or another form of birth control!

 

How was it messing up your period, pills usually regulate it, so you may want to talk to your doctor.

I hate the term "rag"

I think its sick and low class sounding.... Im not calling anyone low class here.. it just SOUNDS low class

I have been on three or four different pills and the last ones made me suicidal. I hate the way they make me feel but I hate my "little friend" being all wacky and all over the place and cramps and the pill really straightened things out. I am just terrified to go back on something.
