This is adorable! Thanks for the smile today! All true and I especially love the one about how a dog gets more excited to see you if you're late. It reminds me of one time when my SO and I had gone out on a date and came home very late. The dogs were all jumping and running around us and acting like I'd been gone for ages. My SO remarked on it saying, "Wow, I can't begin to compete with how much love these guys show you when you walk in the door!" Of course, just then the little terrier mix I was fostering chose that moment to pee all over the floor in his excitement. I turned to my SO and said, "Please don't." We were laughing so hard we couldn't breathe and woke the entire household up.
