Guys if a girl said this to you what would you make of it...

Someone you've only met a couple of times, so she's sort of a random, discovers you're married/taken and have been for a while and she says to you 'you must be getting bored by now'

 

What do you make of it? What would you take it to mean?

-She could have been joking

-She could have a really negative view of relationships

-She could fancy you and she was hitting on you

-She could be in a relationship herself and she's "projecting"

-She could be trying to sympathize

-She could be making a snide comment on your previous behaviour

 

You really can't take one little comment and derive all sorts of meaning from it. Sometimes I say crazy things when I'm caught off guard and don't know what to say.

I wouldn’t think much of it if that’s the only comment she has made. I never usually take one comment or even one incident of flirting to mean much. Sometimes a girl is drunk. Sometimes she’s bored or feeling frisky at the moment. One incident could mean nothing or everything.

 

But if it does mean something she’ll usually make more than one effort to say or do something. So until I see more indicators from her I wouldn’t take much of anything she said or did too seriously. That particular comment probably wouldn't register on my radar unless the way she said it indicated something.
