My mother doesn't care about my feelings at all. My ex and I broke up over 2 years (it was a realllly bad breakup), and she's still talking to him behind my back!!!

 

He cheated on me during our whole relationship, and broke up with me in a text message.

 

Why O why O why, does she insist on talking to him?

 

They weren't friends before we met or got together. They've maybe only seen each other 3 times. What's up with this?

 

I've asked so many people ages 27 -66 as to what they think of it, and all of them find it strange! I just don't see why she continues to do it.

 

She told me to "get over it"....ya, well, that doesn't shed any light on the behavior. She won't explain it to me at all. I just don't understand.

Yes, it is really strange. I just don't understand why she won't explain it to me. I was realllly distressing for me yesterday, but there's nothing I can do about it. I think I'll just ignore it.

It's obviously not going to stop.
