Knocking on Heavens door

Rage

Recommended Posts

I remember the pain,

That I started to feel,

I remember the crimson blood,

Thanks to the cold steel.

I began to feel dizzy,

As the world started to fade,

Then I loosened my grip,

From my razor blade.

It fell from my hand,

And hit the blood soaked floor,

As my mother walked in,

Through the living room door.

I remember her screams,

As she began to cry,

"I won't allow you to leave me,

I won't allow you to die".

So she picked me up,

My blood soaked her hands,

"Why didn't you talk to me,

I just don't understand".

The world was spinning,

I felt very tired,

The cut in my wrist,

Felt like it was on fire.

Then I blacked out,

The world turned black as night,

The last thing I heard was,

"For me, you need to fight."

Then I woke up,

On a luke warm bed,

The doctor looked at me,

Sweat pouring off his head.

"We will save you kid,

We won't let you die",

Then I heard my mother,

As she started to cry.

I passed out again,

The world turned black,

Then I saw the image of god,

Turned to his back.

"You go back now,

It is not yet your time",

He said as I heard,

The bells begin to chime.

"You have to understand,

Life is just a test,

You can either make it your worst,

Or you can make it your best".

Then I woke up,

And saw my mothers eyes,

She was so happy,

That she started to cry.

"Don't worry mum,

Everything will be okay,

I want to live now,

And see another day".

THE ANGEL IN BLACK CLOTHES

the air gets hot and thick

and all fades to black

sadness takes control

for what the world lacks

he was never the center of attention

nor did he want to be

he was a beautiful treasure

the world did not see

and when he died up came two creatures

each with beaming red eyes and a pointy black horn

the world lost the life it never deserved

and yet nobody mourned

his life was ended out of anger

and he was dragged to hell

so unfair

his soul was something he would never sell

but the world doesnt mourn

and every one knows

the world doesnt miss

the angel in black clothes

i liked your poem, maybe i should have read this first before the previous, at least now you can see the love your mother had for you, it was a very powerful poem and i can see the edge to it, i thought it was encouraging the way you used your words and to show others that set times are given to us, i guess in some sense you can show people that we have a meaning and we dont have to make it some times only were not always supported.

im glad your happier.
