Where the bleep is my period!?

Grr. So, my baby was born on July 2nd and I nursed her until she was about 3.5-4months old. She started taking formula and cereal/oatmeal at 4months. She will be 5 months old on Dec 2 aaand.... I STILL haven't started my period. I'm going to call my OBGYN's nurse on Monday when the offices open up again, but is this normal? I'm freaking out that maybe it'll never come back and I won't get preggo again!

 

I DID, however, spot for about 1-2 days about a month ago. And then again 2 weeks later for just a day or two. But not a full fledged period. What the heck?

 

Oh. And I'm not pregnant. Already took 2 tests a few weeks ago to double check

Breastfeeding can inhibit your cycle. And it can take a couple of months after you stop before things normalize. I'd say be patient for another couple of months and if it still hasn't returned to normal go see your gyno for a consulation.
