Upcoming Surgery

I'm having a hernia surgery on Thursday. And it's a pretty big hernia. About a year ago, a little more now, I had a surgery that was fifth in a line of surgeries around my stomach, and afterwards I got a hernia from the weakening of the abdominal wall but couldn't get it treated, the doctor recomended that I wait a year. So now I'm about to go in for it, and I guess it's pretty routine, but I'm still a bit nervous about the whole thing. Anyone have any advice or know of anyone who has had hernia surgery?

My good friend's bf just had one last yr. He was on cruches for a little but he was completely fine after awhile. Now he's back to normal =)

Let us know how everything goes, I am sure you will be just fine Very natural to be nervous, though. I am sure I would, too.
