guys did you ever regret it and come back, even after a year?

I said goodbye to a friend and he fought for the friendship but didn't want a relationship. Why fight so hard for something if you don't want a relationship? He also wanted to have sex with me, is that why?

 

He never came back and it kind of shocked me b/c I thought he cared about me, he said he did anyhow. I thought one day he would show up with flowers and its starkingly obviously not the case.
