ajaxajax
Hi all I have yesterday put a post saying that I have been held back by a year from graduating from Pharmacy because I was too scared to even look at my academic results. I have said that I will keep on going until I pass my last exam but: 1. Would future employers/colleagues be put off by me having an unfortunate mishap such as this? 2. Would lecturers/employers/potential colleagues etc look at me differently if I did not have any professionals in my family, as opposed to someone who does? Thanks Link to comment
redhearts
Its your grades and experience that should matter, not personal background. Link to comment
waveseer
I have no idea about your particular field, but for most fields once you have experience then all that matters about your schooling is that you finished at some point. Link to comment
ajaxajax
For the record, I actually have never failed a subject before and had my grades ranging from Pass 2's to High Distinctions. Link to comment
thejigsup
Why would your family matter? I have a bunch of Welfare queens in my family and I've done just fine. I'm a professional who earns a good deal of respect. Link to comment
ajaxajax
I'm in Australia...but I think it's similar to the US. I also think that a Supplementary Pass wouldn't have made me look that good either but... Link to comment
