iwishiknew
Today I played some hockey and while I was warming up, skating around I felt a severe pain in my left ankle. The pain was so sore, like someone stabbed my ankle. I was in so much pain that I had to leave the ice. When I took off my skate, the right side of my left ankle was completely dark red, and blue. I have no idea what happened to my ankle. This is the first time this ever happened to me. I don't really make my skates so tight. What could of cause this to happen? Link to comment

avman
Could be a sprain, strain, or a broken ankle. You need to see the doctor for an x-ray. Link to comment
iwishiknew
I know it is not broken or sprained. I can walk with no problems. It hurts when I put pressure on the right side of my ankle. Link to comment

Just because you can bear weight does not mean it is not broken or sprained. You need to see your doctor. Link to comment

I would see a doctor but I have no health insurance at the moment.. I am just going to take a break from skating for awhile. Link to comment
