iwishiknew Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Today I played some hockey and while I was warming up, skating around I felt a severe pain in my left ankle. The pain was so sore, like someone stabbed my ankle. I was in so much pain that I had to leave the ice. When I took off my skate, the right side of my left ankle was completely dark red, and blue. I have no idea what happened to my ankle. This is the first time this ever happened to me. I don't really make my skates so tight. What could of cause this to happen?
avman Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Could be a sprain, strain, or a broken ankle. You need to see the doctor for an x-ray.
iwishiknew Posted February 9, 2009 Author Posted February 9, 2009 I know it is not broken or sprained. I can walk with no problems. It hurts when I put pressure on the right side of my ankle.
