Well you can still bulk up without protein shakes, but it's gonna take more time since those whey protein shakes are more easily absorbed than protein from meat. Try a different brand, that might be it. Or maybe you're lactose-intolerant. Look for a brand that's safe for you.

For all of the guys that have been sharing my discovery of protein and all who are waisting their time reading this thread, protein gives the worst gas I have ever experienced. Just thought I'd share.....Have a good night everyone....


it's true. i've heard some guys talking about this.

but as others suggested, it may have to do with the formula.
