If Gym Guy was the OP your analysis would make perfect sense but the OP can't make much use of your admonishment to GymGuy that he get with the program lest the OP be snapped up by another guy. Wow. My bad. I thought the OP was a guy asking how long to wait. In that case what she said makes perfect sense, although there are a ton of other reasons that could explain why some guy hasn't pulled the trigger--most tend to wait due to anxiety about what may or may not result if he finally calls.
