E harmony

So I've been chatting with someone on e Harmony, and I have some random questions/thoughts...just need some advice.

 

Okay, first off, is it really safe to meet someone over the internet?

 

I read a comment someone made on eHarmony, on one of the forms. This woman fell for this guy.

And when she went to meet him in person she found out he was a woman!!!

It was a woman who felt she was born in the wrong body, and viewed herself as a man. Ahhh!!!!!!!

Talk about a crazy eHarmony hook up!

 

 

Anywho, is it really smart to give personal information to someone over the computer? A virtual stranger? A stranger who knows what you look like and your name?

Is that really safe?

 

Anywho, so this guy I'm talking to seems sweet, but now I'm feeling hella paranoid about everything.

 

I mean, what if this is someone crazy?

 

Anywho, I haven't responded to his e-mail in a couple of days, and we usually communicate everyday.

 

I just don't know what to do or say. I don't want to be rude. What if he really is what he seems?

 

Any advice? Has anyone been in this situation before?
