Its possible that he just does not want a relationship NOW- maybe he has plans for school. or career issues to be resolved first. You may very well be the type of relationship he wants- just not NOW. Hence- he does want to share some level of intimacy with you -like holding hands. You must be sure not to advance that level of intimacy until you are both ready for committment, plans for the future, and of course exclusivity. Now of course you have a schedule of your own. If you really want a relationship now- you better plan to move on and explore your options. You can still remain platoonic friends of course- and in some future year- the time may be right for you both. Good luck

Not sure about that. I respect him. Your other points were on target though.

 

There are some things I don't like about him, but it doesn't take away from the respect. That is regardless of whether or not he respects me.
