Writing a resume.

Hello fellow enotaloners,

 

I was looking for some help for wirting a resume... most books ive read the majority of the resume looks like past acomplishment or past jobs, i have neither. if any of you can recomend some books for a teen looking for a job or have any advice for writing a resume I would welcome it. Thanks!

Have you done any volunteer jobs while at school? Taken any responsibilities, extra-curricular activities etc?

 

All those things will show motivation and commitment.

you can put your interests on there as well, especially if you think it mihgt be useful for your job.

 

or make sure you write a really good cover letter to go with your resume.

Wow thanks guys. in ontairio you must do 40 hours of comunity service minimum to get your diploma. im at 48 and in grade ten, my sister who is in her last year has somewhere between 130-140 volunteer hours though. and for interests i dont think i can be to overly interested in operating a cash or stacking shelves lol. Ill have to get some friends or sumtin to go over my cover letter because i am horrible in english class.
