First i just want to say that this is a really great site ,some of the post i have read shows that i'm not alone and this happens to everyone. well here is my story i was in this online relationship ( check pervious posts) and this guy i really like alot ,he was/still is a great person to me but he ended it saying that he was not in love with me anymore and that i was staying online whole day cause of him but he still has feelings for me and would like for us to be friends. i just need some advice on how to be his friend when he see my name on msn he hardly talks only hello he says , i will love for us to get back together but i dont know how to make it happen . Should i be patient and give him space or should i continue to be online and hope he changes his mind and talk to me once again . but can u really be friends after a break up and if so how , need some tips

well...anybody can tell whether he 'stopped' loveing u. love doesn't just stop....it's either there or not. u might be able to tell whether it was true or not. it's hard i know....and u're gonna keep looking for signs to prove to urself that he really was and still is in love with u...

maybe he got tired of this longdistance relationship...and is trying to convince himself that he doesn't love u anymore by telling u that. it's easier to make urself believe things when u say them to other people.

my ex said stopped loving me after 2 years. although we were apart for 8 months, and he came back..but then we broke up again(i posted my problem..), and i'm still trying to understand what he really means.

here's what i'm doing...i'm giving him sometime alone..he may have overreacted...then if he doesn't call(or IM u), contact him. talk about all this. don't plan what u're gonna say...just tell him everything...and ask him why he changed like that.

if u're meant to be together, u'll be.

i wish u the best of luck

katie
