Turned down, should i ask her again later in the year?

theres this girl ok, and i really like her. im a big dude, im 13 im 6feet tall 185 lbs so im not the 1st pick. she isnt out of my league though either, but she's very shy. so i finally worked up the courage to ask her out and she told me tht we should just be friends. but i still really like her!!!! i look at here and am just shock at how beautiful god made her. anyway, scarowinds, is about to open(normally its a really fun theme park called carowinds, but around the fall and halloween, they spook it up and call it Scarowinds) and i thought i might ask her out again. is this a good idea, and if so is this really a good place, and do u think it would be a good idea to get some other ppl to come?

I would definitely include her in the outing... bring along some mutual friends. Try to sit next to her on some rides, show an interest, but don't be overbearing! Get to know her better, ask her things about herself and make her feel at ease. You never know, she may change her mind with time.
