A Classic Story, My Version

Three people 2 guys 1 girl all best friends. Guy 1, lets call him me, and the girl decide that they like eachother a lot. They begin to date, HURRAY. After awhile they break up, sad. They try and stay friends but doesn't work out, more sad. 1 month later, guy 2, we'll call him my best friend, and the girl begin to date, whilst he already has a girlfriend.

I feel like I have to be happy for them but everytime i think about the 2 of them together I want to punch him in the face.

I guess I want to know why I feel this way.

I suppose you feel this way because you still have feelings for that girl. You're jealous of their relationship but you feel that you have to root them on because of your duties as a good friend.

You could confront them and tell them that you feel uncomfortable around them and just take some time away from them. It's better to be upfront about it rather than keeping it inside until you erupt.

You ever thought of jealousy? you may say that you two arent together but you still have feelings for her and hence will habor envy towards another guy no matter who he is.
