EddieRentz
There is a funny but crude saying that I hear a lot from my father's friends that goes something like this... "The only woman you can trust is your mother... and your father cant even trust her..." Crude, mysoginistic saying, but I truly believe the kernal of truth in there is Mom is always the one that I will trust first and foremost... then my sister. I learned recently the hard way that significant others can be fickle... Link to comment

kb109
ME! Just like Tony Montana says in Scarface..."Who do I trust? Me!". But seriously, I trust no one but myself. Link to comment
Juliana
I can't even trust myself; who knows when I'm going to cough up another repressed memory. Yikes. But I do trust all the people I'm close to, to greater or lesser degrees, as my experience with them warrants. I don't expect superhuman capabilities of them. I trust God; he frequently comes through for me with things that have a real "wow" factor. What is it that makes us trustworthy? We've all been betrayed by people who wouldn't want to be that kind of person; why did it happen? Did they not know themselves? Were we expecting too much? Was there a failure of communication?
