A poem I wrote about heartbreak.

Guess what everyone!!! I've got 'interest' from a few different publishers!!!

Heres another poem-

 

To make me smile, he would always endeavour,

For years, three months we were together,

We had something to cherish, and truly treasure,

I was so convinced we were forever,

He was my eyes when I was blind,

He was so rare and hard to find,

Our thoughts combined and bodies entwined,

one body, one soul, one heart, one mind,

I could've been so unhappy, could've had the worst day,

But one look at him and all the pain went away,

They say abcense makes the heart grow fonder,

I guess it does because now my love is stronger,

He was so young, I keep asking why he had to die,

When I was sad and would cry, my tears he would dry,

But now he can't, I'm alone, I have to accept that he's gone,

But my will went with him, my will to go on,

Why did someone connect us, then take him away from me,

Why did someone destroy what was so meant to be,

Now I have to accept it, even though it's not fair,

But when it's my turn I'll go join him up there,

Now as I look towards my future,My future all alone,

I love and miss him so, so much,But I have to do it on my own,

That hurts me to say it, and makes me so sad,

But they can take him, but they can't take the memories I have.
