TBariteau
There's this girl that I met at my work place. She's attractive and fun. I like her and from what I understand she likes me back. She's expressed interest in me and the other night two of my friends gave me her phone num,ber saying that she gave it to the one of them to give to me. I believe it, but you never know, this could be a sick prank. Anyway, now that I have her number, I have to face my second task of picking up the phone and calling her. I'm horrible at talking to girls on the phone. I draw blanks when it comes to conversation and when the silence starts to kill me I become desperate and start to sound "silly", for lack of a better term. In general, can anyone please lend me some advice? Link to comment
iamteddybearfeelmecuddle
Oh, don't worry so much. Just call her. If she likes you she WILL appreciate it, and believe me, she won't care if you're nervous. In fact she'll probably think it's cute. Link to comment
orgasmictofu
If you're more comfortable talking in person, just go up to her say "hey, let's go have a coffee and chit chat". That way you can avoid the phone all together. Link to comment
heloladies21
Call her tomorrow. Don't wait too long for the first call from now on or she'll think you're not interested. Go check out these sites for help on communicating with women. Link to comment
Derek
Keep it short. The point of the call is to organize a meeting in person right? Don't be like a girlfriend and talk for 4 hours. Be natural. Be yourself. Entertain her a little. (make her laugh) End on a good note. (i.e. after she laughs at something, say, "well it's been great talking to you, I gotta go!) Link to comment
