when to ask a devorced women out

In your case, I would suggest only asking her out if you are pretty sure she feels interest in you beyond a friend.

 

Otherwise, she may be shocked to find out you feel differently, especially after 14 years of platonic (I'm assuming) friendship. And if she doesn't feel the same way in return, she may end up feeling very uncomfortable about your invitation to a date...to the point where she distances herself from you.

thanks.I only told her how i feel 12 weeks ago.She does have intrest in me.She has said she wonders how her life would be different if she was with me.Devorce is almost finale now.

Much would depend on the circumstances of the divorce.

 

Who asked for the divorce and why?

Were they separated long before the divorce proceedings began?

And are there any children, if so who has custody most of the time?

both wanted it.There is a 8 year old.Devorce was set in play fast.She has child most of time.

It depends on how long she's been separated from her ex-husband.

 

Just like any breakup there is no set time limit. People are ready at different times.

 

If you think she would be okay with it, go ahead and ask her out. But just be aware of being a "rebound" relationship and everything that entails.

I think 4 weeks is too soon. Let her regain her perspective and independence first. I would wait a while yet.
