Naomi
Okay, this is a funny question but here goes. There's a guy who I see around every so often maybe once a month, we're friendly to each other nothing more usually. Anyways, last night he saw me and ran over to me and told me excitedly that he was going to be in a play next week and I was so taken aback that I sort of said thats great but I am working late all next week but that otherwise I would have come. He immediately changed the topic and we said good bye to each other. Now I am wondering was this his way of asking me out? Is there any other way to interpret it? HELP!!! I'm starting to kick myself b/c i kind of like him. But if he wasn't trying to ask me out than I prefer not ot get my hopes up. PLEASE HELP INTERPRET!!! Link to comment
nikkers04
He said he was in a play so I would take that as he wanted you to come see him in the play. It is hard to say if you would classify it a date or a friendly outing Link to comment
annie24
hmm.... maybe.... why don't you contact him afterwards and ask how the play went? Link to comment
AlwaysNeedHelp
Could be friendly and could be that he is asking you out.. who knows time will reveal everything.. Link to comment
darkblue
It could even be that he was trying to impress you! I agree with annie that you should contact him afterwards, and tell him how much you would love to have been there - and as how it went. Good luck. Link to comment
DN
Not to burst any bubbles but being involved in theatre it is also possible that he wanted to sell you a ticket, or at least increase his audience. Link to comment
Huntsman
more likely he wanted attention for himself. Link to comment
