if i skip my period is that ok?

im taking seasonal its birth control pack for three months so u only have ur period eery three months. well this week im meant to have my period after not for three months going away this weekend is it ok to take the first week in the new pack then stop and have my period next week then start the pack again on the 2nd week? so i would be missing the first week in the pack. any thoughts appreciated

I am on Seasonale too...but I don't think that's possible on any birth control to resume your period if you skip the 2nd week supply after immediately going to the first week supply. I'm not an expert but I think that pretty much begins the whole cycle again. There are definitely reasons why the Pill is taken in the order that it is.
