You can be happy when you let go. The kids can still have a relationship by having sleep overs, family outings, etc. Your happiness is paramount. It's typical for women to feel guilty about splitting up the family unit and think of the worst. Kids are more comfortable with two happy parents living apart than living in a tense environment. The kids can sense the toxicity between you two. It will be alright. Many people split up on move on to happier lives. Be positive and follow your dreams without guilt. Link to comment
