EmptySoul
I'm planning on mailing my internet friend some things. Just like a ring, some pictures, some drawings, and pins, like the round ones that say things on them. Are there certain rules, like will i be able mail all these things in an envelope, or will they send it back bc the pins and ring are metallic, and bc it weighs more than a piece of paper? or will i need extra stamps? i dont really know. i appreciate any help. ComputerGuy
Just ask at the post office, they'll know what you need to do Link to comment
sonjam
you will probably need a bigger padded envelope. And a good idea is to send it by registered post, so it won't get lost that easily. You can buy these envelopes at any postal shop Link to comment
ayekasong
The metal probably won't be a problem. If you're shipping internationally, you will have to declare what you put in the envelope on a special customs form. If it's a domestic shipment, no big deal, but yes, you will need extra postage. I recommend shipping it directly from the post office, as they will be able to give you the exact price (I've had stuff returned to me in years past because of too little postage). Link to comment
