Signs someone is hiding their feelings?

What are the signs, if any, that a women is hiding her feelings for a guy?

Whether it be because she's shy, or circumstances rule out a relationship with him, or she's unsure whether he feels the same way.

Lying, that's all i can think off. Also hesitating while talking could be a sign unless you know in advance the person is shy.

Well, it can be anything from trying to hide her feelings and acting like she ignores you, acting overly confident, because she is unsure of how you feel to blushing and going silent. I am ridiculously shy, but only if it comes to this one person and I have done all the above. Blushing, scrambling for words, because you don't want to say the wrong thing, stuttering, awkward silence, being nervous, talking way too much due to being nervous, coming off overly confident and even cocky.

 

I am sure that varies depending on which kind of person she is.
