childhood friend

hey.

one of my friends from elementary school died in a car accident about a month ago. He was my first "boyfriend" if thats what you want to call it. He was like the guy that when i saw him on the playground i was like "That's my boyfriend." I haven't talked to him since 7th grade, and now i'm in 11th. I don't know why, but his death really hit me hard. Ya, we were really good friends, but that was 4 years ago and i hadn't talked to him since. Ever since his death i haven't felt the same. I don't know why, but his death really affected me. It felt like one of my best friends died even though we weren't that close. I don't know why.
