What does this mean?

Ive been with my partner for 7 years. Both in early 20s, he will not talk about the future with me at all. Everytime I try to bring it up he tells me he isnt gonna talk to me 'when im like this' and makes out like im talking about murdering someone. Why!!???!?!!!? Why wont he talk about the future with me . Im starting to think that he just doesnt wanna be with me long term and he is keeping me around until something better . Advice appreciated xx

You are right. He is not looking at you as long term...because neither of you has had any other relationships...and he doesn't want to commit. Time to break the "habit" and be single.

You got it exactly right. My friend stayed with a guy for FIFTEEN YEARS who never had any intention of marrying her. Their relationship was longer than a lot of marriages. She stuck around and stuck around and he never changed. She wasted all of her 20s and half of her 30s on him.
