Me & my ex broke up 2 years ago after a 3 year relationship & we still get along fine. We talk every month or 2 just to check in & make sure we're both fine. he even called me to wish me a Happy Thanksgiving.

Anyway.... Tuesday was his birthday so I called to wish him a happy bday. Since I had just heard that he got engaged I congratulated him on that too. We talked for about 20 minutes & then I asked him if he wanted my address. When he asked why I told him for my wedding invitation! haha! I don;t really expect an invite, I just wanted to mess with him a bit. Was that going too far?

Btw, we've always had a relationship like that, continuingly messing with each other.....

I dont think it was wrong of you to say, if he knows you he knows you were just messing around. I wouldnt worry about it too much.
