I know this is a somewhat older thread, but thank you so much for posting this article.

 

I found this to be a very profound phrase within it (modified to fit anyone): “It’s not the girlfriend/boyfriend you want; it’s what you think she/he can give you.” It's given me a wealth of perspective in moments.
