If they say they like you, but don't act like it what does that mean? How can you tell if they are playing hard to get? How do you know it's ok to make advances or not? When they cancel on you how do you react? Try to reschedule or let them? Do they really want a nice guy when they say that? Coul be a million reasons. But don't chase someone who is not interested in you. That's not needed. If they say they like you, but don't act like it what does that mean? People are different. Some are shy and reserved. Give her time. How can you tell if they are playing hard to get? Hard to know. They may be really busy. How do you know it's ok to make advances or not? Look at her body language and decide if she seems receptive. Flirting and light touching can help open her up. When they cancel on you how do you react? Try to reschedule or let them? If they cancel once, then feel free to reschedule if you want. Move on if they cancel twice for the same date. Do they really want a nice guy when they say that? The "nice guy" label is meaningless. I want/have a compatible guy that I am attracted to. General questions that came up in conversation about the shadiness of the dating scene the other day. If someone doesn't text you back its either because the last text didn't need a response (ex. "that was a great movie last night" is a statement and all they have to text back is "yeah" or not at all) or they just didn't want to respond, period. They could have also been busy and not read your message properly. If they say they like you, but don't act like it what does that mean? They're on the fence about going out with you and you need to express your interest more. How can you tell if they are playing hard to get? If they make it very hard for you two to meetup by cancelling last minute. Also they go hot and cold on you each time you hang out. How do you know it's ok to make advances or not? They show body language that they like you or they flirt with you. if they show interest in you in general. When they cancel on you how do you react? Try to reschedule or let them? Give them the benefit of the doubt the first time, then invite them out again on a later date. If they keep cancelling and not suggesting another day/time they aren't interested. Just gives more reason to plan stuff for yourself or with friends and keep yourself busy. Do they really want a nice guy when they say that? Your definition of nice guy and their definition are not the same. It's more than being nice, or polite. The two words 'nice guy' probably mean a guy who fits several things they are looking for. In general girls probably want a confident, respectful guy who's also passionate about something, is not looking for just sex right away, takes care of himself, they think is attractive, and likes them back.
