Do you think it's ok to stay over at someone's house that you met thru online dating site? It will be our second date...we live 3 hours away from each other.

People do it... but remember, he is nice and probably attractive but he is a stranger. What would you tell your own daughter? Follow your own advice.

No I don't think it's a good idea to stay at someones house 3 hours away on a second date. I'd get to know them a LOT better first.

 

You need to look after your safety. He could be anyone. There are murderers/rapists that prey on people on dating sites.

 

I know that's an extreme and he probably isn't one, but could you stay in a hotel/motel where he is rather than at his house?

Not a great idea. Better to stay at a local hotel/motel, as someone suggested. There'll be plenty of opportunities to stay at his place later on if the dating develops well - so leave it for later. It's just too early to be getting that close.
