painful no matter how "prepared" you are

Recommended Posts

dated someone for more or less 6 months, saw the break up coming as we drifted apart, rather slowly. no drama fighting or major issues. just his interest slowly dwindling and put me through silent treatment which for me is a big no-no. i believe i still have a right on how i would like to be treated, love or not. i initiated the break up, because he refused to talk to me or talk about what we needed to do. still very fresh, 5 days.

some sting in my heart, but i know from years of BU experience, so to speak, how to handle. NC is the best way. on the road to recovery again....

Hi Chelly - onwards and upwards! I understand it's an upsetting time but try not to let it get you down. I am sure it's for the best especially as he was ignoring you towards the end of the relationship. I do feel it was very unfair that he didn't talk to you about his feelings, instead getting you to break up with him. My thoughts are that he wanted to break up, but he just didn't know how to tell you.

Best wishes and good luck!
