What would you do if your ex say that s/he misses you, still loves you, regrets leaving you and probably will for awhile but at the same time, is with someone else? Oh yes, and s/he apologized for breaking up and everything that subsequently happened.

You accept it, and as she is with someone else, you move on. You don't call, text or stop by. You are no longer in a relationship.

It would mean nothing to me all the while they are with someone else. What difference does any of that make if they still choose to be with someone else?

Its empty words really. She probably does miss you and love you but not in love, etc, but what it comes down to is that she doesn't actually want to be with you, so that's pretty final. Don't read anything into her words. She feels bad about what she's done, but no matter how bad she feels or how much she still might feel for you, you're not the one she wants to be with. Don't get sucked into thinking she might come back. It's just what people say when they hurt someone they care about but dont want to be with.
