If you didn't know a priest is sworn to some what of a chilvary, a code of conduct. They also are sworn to celibacy. I would suggest forgeting him and that you should talk to maybe the bishop in the area..... This is very very wrong. Im sorry that you got mixed up in this kind of mess... Link to comment

Just A Teen Posted August 30, 2004 Share Posted August 30, 2004 Well, A Decon isn't a priest. Are you catholic? Well you see decons can' date and can be married but not a priest. Yes maybe he is human but if he really does want you then he needs to give up the preist hood and maybe stay a decon. He was sworn to all of this and he has broken the rule. I can't really tell you what to do because what you are going to do is totaly different but. Serously its wrong its just like the president treasoning if you know what i mean. Link to comment

But, most of the men who want to have marriage or be married stay deconds... yes some do be tricky but its wrong and there is a reason why the pope and the whole order kicks them out. Link to comment

hua ze lei Posted September 2, 2004 Author Share Posted September 2, 2004 my baby asked that question to me and i said why not answer your own question... some of his fellow priests agree on marrying instead of the vow chastity why not charity... as for me when he had his lunch at home he asked my mom what if a priest will marry your daughter my mom said he will be definitely lucky and the same time im also lucky coz everything is ok and are matured the problem is that he has a title... rev. fr........... some countries allowed it but i know for a fact that for us it is forbidden... he is my life my everything as well as for him... would you call it destinity? or fate? coz after 10 years we're back in each others arms again... i met him when he was still a seminarian..... as i have said some are happy for us others dont... we dont care.... is it ok then for you if priests are allowed to marry? See, it is possible for a married man to be ordained a deacon - but if a deacon is ordained when he is single, he must remain committed to the church and is not able to start new relationships or become married.
