Honey Pumpkin
People are entitled to break up with their partners. He doesn't feel that it's quite right with M, and it's okay to break things off. I think people come here because they are hurt by a break-up - but break-ups happen. Sometimes you do meet someone else and realise that however nice someone is, they are not the 'one' for you. I would do it quickly, and without dragging it out. Be honest and be clear, and accept that just about everyone will have been dumped and will dump someone. Just be decent about it. Also wait a wee while before seeing if you and the new gal have chemistry together - it will hurt your ex if she finds out you have leapt into a new relationship straightaway. Good luck! Kitkat973
If you're unhappy with your partner and you want to end the relationship to pursue something else, then you do. You don't need to have a justification for it in her having done something wrong- you want to end it, and that's reason enough. Link to comment
