Out of curiosity, what are some of the sweetest/cutest/most special lines you have said to or heard from another? Not pick-up lines, but actual romantic or couple-ey (it's a word now) lines.

My favorite was when I asked my ex-gf what her favorite place was. This is her answer verbatim.

 

"Actually, anywhere with you would be a favorite place, as long as we werent in a pit filled with snakes..."

 

God, how I wished it was still the case.

When I went back to college, I had an initial difficult time making new friends. (I was self-conscious that I was 27 and everyone seemed so much younger). Anyway, I was lamenting this to my boyfriend at the time, and I guess I cried a little bit. He reached over and took my hand and said the sweetest thing: "I'll be your friend!"

 

And another boyfriend in the past once said something really cute: "If I had known you in high school, I would have taken you to the prom!"

 

There's other stuff, maybe more romantic even, but those always stayed with me for some reason.

I was trying to get close to a real tease of a girl once and told her this:

well, on X-mas jake said the sweetst thing to me. he said that spending time with me is just like christmas, and my presnt is being with you. i cryed after that. it was so sweet, thats when i got my first french to.

this ones kinda a joke amoung ROTC ppl at my college. But I have seen it work a few times..."Yeah, Im a Rot-C guy.." girl says something about the uniform to witch we reply "well, only thing better than a guy in Uniform is the same guy in your bed"

 

I know it sounds aweful, but my buddy took a girl home w/ that line...and they are now going on 3 months.
