catgirl82
help! i met my boyfriend over a year ago and he is what i consider to be my soulmate and the love of my life. i love everything about him and we are totally compatible. my only problem is, he is really arrogant and i CANT STAND IT!!! he only shows his arrogant side to me because he knows that when we're around eachother we dont have to hold back. every time he says something arrogant, i get really annoyed and turned off. i know that even if he tones it down, he will always have an arrogant attitude towards certain things (his looks, his intelligence). i dont know what to think. is it normal to have such a strong pet peeve about someone you love so much? i know that arrogance stems from insecurity, and i try to compliment him so he knows that he shouldnt feel insecure. any input?? sparkler624
Hi. I think you need to talk to him about this. If he knows that it upsets you then maybe he will tone it down, or even stop, when he is around you. What do you have to lose? Link to comment

sparkler624
We all have things that we hate/dispise about others, so yes I think it's normal. It's just a minor bump in the road that can be smoothed out. Link to comment
