HellFrost666
I posted about this situation yesterday also... I was thinking of sending a rejection follow up email to them. I've done this before and it's never hurt my chances. I'v been told it's just a professional thing to do when you've been rejected. Thing is though, they haven't officially rejected me yet. I had the interview two weeks ago today, and the job I interviewed for has been listed in the newspaper for three days now. I basically want to send them a message saying (this is in layman's terms) "Hey, I noticed the job I interviewed for is now listed in the newspaper. So it's only safe to assume I am no longer being considered. I want to thank you for considering me for the job and for taking the time to talk to me about it. If the person you hire doesn't work out I hope you will still keep me in mind. Have a nice day." That's what I want to tell them... but I don't know how to word it so it sounds professional. Or is this a bad idea all around? Thanks in advance for any help. Link to comment
