Needs a guy's perspective

When your girlfriend asks you after an argument if you want to end things because it seems like you can't forgive her, what would make you not say yes or no but say "I'm just upset right now." And goes on for days without contact.

 

From a guy's perspective does this mean that you want to break up but waiting for your gf to do it instead? Or something else?

it means he is upset and needs to think, give him a couple more days, than contact him. ask him if he is still mad or upset if he says yes, just say I am sorry. No "I am sorry but"....just I am sorry, call me when you want to talk,end the conversation.

Since I don't know what kind of guy your boyfriend is, I tend to agree with deaxtime2. He is upset and needs time to clear his head and think. Let him miss you. Let him think about your good times together and get over the recent hurt.

 

If he is immature or manipulative or...my answer would obviously be different.

I'd say it means that he doesn't want to break up, he is just upset and didn't want to make a rash decision during the argument.
