Do men care whether or not a girl is on birth control?

The first guy I had sex with was religious about asking if I'd taken my birth control that day or not. We were young and very much attracted to each other but we weren't ready to have a child together yet.

Personally I think a guy who doesn't ask is just about the sex and not much else. I've never had emotionless sex but I can't imagine it's ever very good.

I've been asked by my bf. But they usually only ask so they know if they will need to use condoms

you're 19? that sounds VERY bizarre to me. more than the majority of girls i know are on the pill' date=' and i am as well. if they aren't on the pill then they have an IUD. SO many people still use the pill. but there are other options that do the same thing like a nuvaring or an iud.[/quote']

 

This is also what I was thinking or under the impression of: that I was probably in the minority who DONT use the pill lol.

Practically every one of my friends are on the pill. Condoms aren't foolproof, so a back up is always required.

 

I am on the pill for medical reasons rather than sexual ones, but when the time comes I'm covered for both.
