ever had that dream where you're NOT alone?

not to sound like a whiner, but i figured i'd share this with you all.

 

last night i had that classic dream where i met someone awesome up at my college (i'm home now for the summer in reality) and i was very happy with her. it wasn't even a person i knew from reality, it was like a new dream person. but then i woke up and remembered i'm alone, and that person doesn't exist.. and now i'm just kinda bummed.

 

anyone else ever have this dream?

I had a dream like that many many many years ago... but this person had a name and features so I knew he was real...

 

7 yrs later I had long forgotten that dream but then I actually met him... right name and features and everything...

 

Weird huh???

 

So you just never know.

I've had those. I say enjoy it... savor it while it is fresh in your brain... even write it down.

 

Sometimes you meet that person in reality.... and it just ends up much more frustrating and difficult than in the dream. Real life is tough like that.

 

Still.... kinda intoxicating...love dreams like that.

I've had a few dreams like that over the course of my life, it always seems like you wake just at the peak of happiness. sometimes I'd just wake up and realize none of it was real and just start crying.

There's a cure song that i was a big fan of and never realized what it was about. but one day i got it. i just kinda cried at how beautifully it captured that happy experience. if you haven't heard it you really must. i cant think of any other song written about the subject, not could i imagine one having been written better. the lyrics aren't enough tho, you hafta HEAR it to understand
