What are the things a man MUST mention about himself up front so that way she can trust him (or like him) enough to go on future dates with him?

 

I read some advice that a man has to be mysterious, but that doesn't seem to work with many women.

Trust is like a lot of other things in life: it has to be earned. Most people won't trust you straight away, unless they're incredibly naive and have not had much life experience at all, and you shouldn't expect people to trust you straight away. All you can do, is be a straight shooter and let the evidence speak for itself.

There is no hard and fast rule about what to revel to get someone to trust you. Its a gradual thing that has to be earned, in both directions. I know how you feel because I'm always eager to prove I can be trusted in a new relationship but you have to accept it takes time. The funny thing is that to gain it takes a lifetime, but to destroy it takes only one second.
