We've decided to be friends.

Me and my ex have just finished a conversation and after her saying that she "couldn't do it again" we decided that we should be friends, and now we are getting on fine. It's not the victory I wanted (seeing as I wanted to get back with her) but maybe friendship will go further.

 

I would like to get back with her but I may need to get her to learn that she can love me again, though she says she still does. I still lover her and she just can't be in a relationship with me again.

 

I followed the advice given to me and managed to change her around, she apologized for everything and said how sorry she was, this all worked because of everyone who helped me out.

 

I now would like to begin to working my way into a relationship, but not too fast, I'd like to be happy with this small victory.

Just accept that she wants a friendship. As time goes by a relationship will start to grow. You can't say to the sun more sun or the rain less rain, can you?
