Just finishing this book and found it a fascinating read. A true account of a women of the FLDS cult of polygamists. She was the 4th wife of a powerful FLDS leader Merril Jessop, and bore 8 children with him in 15 years (he has over 50 children with 7 wives). She escaped the cult with her children after 15 years of 'marriage' with him and was the first polygamist cult wife to gain complete custody of their children.

 

A very interesting read if you have any interest in the family dynamics of polygamist marriages and families.

I finished it just a few days ago and it was a page turner right to the end.

 

Turns out at the end her husband had over 11 wives and over 100 children.

 

Just a really fascinating book.
