I'm not feeling any pain. There isn't a heartache. That disappeared about 5 months ago. Now, I'm just a man on a mission, so to speak. The only thing resembling pain is the frustration that comes with not having any earthly idea as to what she is thinking...

 

Which is why I "lashed out". You're all missing the fact that I'm not in pain here. Yes, it would make sense for me to force myself to end this if it hurt, but it doesn't. This is almost equivalent to liking some other girl. The only difference is that we have a past, which affects our potential future. It does not hurt to like her.
